One Key Resources are currently recruiting for experienced Electrical Trades Supervisor for an Underground Coal Mine in the Moranbah region for our client, a global producer of metallurgical coal.
The Electrical Trade Supervisor role is accountable to assist the Coordinator with the supervision of the maintenance crew and assist with the planning of planned maintenance tasks to ensure maintenance and production targets are met across the operation.
The Electrical Trade Supervisor holds the following responsibilities:
Supervise and instruct personnel within the immediate team to meet planned outcomes and hold members of team accountable to expected standards of behaviour and performance;
Audit maintenance work to ensure it is completed in accordance with set strategy, plan and to the appropriate standard.
Ensure tasks being carried in a safe manner and comply with applicable policies, plans and procedures by the crew;
Oversee people development issues in your area including input into training and developing of team members;
Daily assistance with planning, work order management and allocation of resources.
Attend and provide input into the daily planning .
Provide coverage as required for the Electrical Coordinator.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience or exposure in the following areas:
Underground mining experience
Trade and Supervisor background
Be self-motivated and able to work alone or in a team environment
Basic computer skills
Able to show the ability to complete scheduled work on time and to the required standard.
Communication skills and be able to work in with processes to get the job done.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Current QLD Underground Coal Board Medical
Current Underground Coal Competencies
Current Driver’s License
Electrical Trade and Electrical Licence
S1/2/3 and G2 Certifications
HV Switching Certification (highly desirable)
