We are seeking experienced Coal Quality and Logistics Coordinator for an Open Cut Coal Mine site in the Bowen Basin near Moura. Our client is a Tier 1 mining house who requires skilled, experienced and safety minded individual’s for ongoing opportunities. You will be Accountable for positive outcomes within the Coal Supply Chain Operation with Key responsibilities that include:
Monitoring CHP coal handling practices and segregation to ensure coal quality
Monitoring Coal Quality in conjunction with the Coal Laboratory
Schedule and monitor; Coal handling from the CHP to stockpiling area
Schedule and monitor; Coal haulage from the mine to the TLO
Schedule and monitor; Train loading and railing schedules
Monitor contractors’ compliance with contracts
Assist with logistic forecasting
Attend and contribute in regular planning and contract meetings with key stakeholders
Assist in the coal quality process, including monitoring the feedback loop
Requirements:
Experience in a bulk commodity logistics role
Coal quality experience advantageous
Relevant tertiary qualification preferred
Strategic thinker
The ability to work as a part of a small team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ideally we are looking for an experienced CHPP Coordinator from either a trade or process engineering background, you must be a great out of the box thinker and problem solver who is engaging and have the ability to maintain strong relationships with all Stakeholders from Commercial through to Mine Operations.
