An employer of choice, One Key Resources employs Open Cut and Underground Operators, Civil & Infrastructure Operator, Tradespeople and Support Staff at close to 100 locations across Australia.

We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Administrator for a 6-month opportunity with a large mining company based in their Brisbane Corporate Office. The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Regional Supply Specialists in preparing, maintaining, and reviewing company contracts to maximise financial and operational performance and ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.


This role is to support the Supply Specialists to establish and administer group and Site-specific goods and services contracts through understanding and determining end user requirements and collaborating with Site-based stakeholders at multiple levels. The Contracts Administrator will do this by:
  • Ensuring timely and accurate contract documentation is created including variations, extensions, amendments, and deeds.
  • Maintaining and updating contract management systems, specifically SAP.
  • Producing reports as required.
  • Identify and co-ordinate contract administration requirements such as the updating of company reps, contract close-outs, warranty follow-up, etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and Code of Conduct.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • Possesses professional experience (2–4 years) in the mining Industry in a contract administrative or support role.
  • Preferably demonstrates experience in sourcing, contracting and/or operations within Indirect Procurement – HR Services, Facilities Management, Utilities, Travel, Information Management and Professional Services.
  • Basic understanding of Contract law and standard general conditions for Supply contracts.
  • Competence in the use of the Microsoft Suite, familiarisation with SAP not mandatory; but would be viewed favourably.
  • Experience in contracts interpretation, provisions of contracts, special conditions, payment schedules, commercial acumen, ability to communication on a high level both written and verbally, resilience, and a high level attention to detail.
